Manchester's first Nintendo 3DS StreetPass event, allowing you to swap around all those lovely Miis you've been making and exchange extra data on games such as Street Fighter IV, nintendogs and Ridge Racer, is being held in the Trafford Centre shopping mall on Saturday 2nd April. That's just days away!
The event is organised by Keith and Michael Davidson, collectively known as MeetMii, who want to get the most out of one of Nintendo's favourite 3DS functions. The hope is that many people will gather together to trade data, thus getting the most out of their new system and its games, helping out those that would not usually get regular StreetPass activity without an organised occasion.
The first MeetMii event will be taking place in Manchester's Trafford Centre on Saturday 2nd April from 12pm until 2pm. If you stride over to the Orient Food Court, you'll find the MeetMii guys on the ground floor near the Great Hall, the entrance hall behind Carluccio's Italian café/restaurant.
Directions to the Trafford Centre can be found here, and here's a handy map of the mall itself.
As this is the first event, it's uncertain how well things will go and how popular it will be. However, MeetMii are hoping to hold regular, monthly events of this nature, and have already roughly pencilled in future meet ups at Manchester Piccadilly Gardens and...somewhere in London for the summer.
Cubed3 will be in attendance, so if you make it by please stop and say hi! We'll be more than happy to challenge you to a match of Street Fighter IV, too...though we may live to regret saying that. Whether you can make it for just a minute or want to stay throughout the whole event, though, we'd be very glad to see you.
Will you be attending MeetMii's first meet up?
