Xenoblade Chronicles to be Released in September? on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Today on his twitter page X-factor voice over man Peter Dickson has revealed that the long awaited Wii RPG, Xenoblade Chronicles will have a September release date, which also confirms that he is one of the voice actors in the game.

Xenoblade Chronicles will have both Japanese and English voice acting, and let players choose which language they prefer to listen to.

On his Twitter Page, he says:

Just finished my voice acting on Xenoblade Chronicles The Biggest RPG for the Wii. I play emperor Sorean the emperor of high Entia. Out Sept

No actual date has been revealed but stick to Cubed3 for more news.

Epic voice or not, there's no way in hell I'm ever going to choose the English voices over the original Japanese ones. Smilie

As long as it's done well & the actor is good enough to give his character life...& I mean like Mark Hammel & Nolan North GOOD I prefer my native tounge. If this comes to the US do you think they'll keep the same voice actors? Nothing against England (my mom's entire side of the family is from across the pond) but I'd feel the accent would be off for me.

PLEASE BRING THIS TO THE UNITED STATES!!!!!!! Smilie

@Vorash Kadan: I see no reason for it not to be taken to the States, but I think it might keep it's voice actors, unless that is, it needs the Americanisation.

That's where English or pretty much any voice actors can't compete with Japanese ones. Smilie

Japanese voice actors seem to just put so much more emotions in all their lines that it makes everything really believable. I watch a lot of Anime, it's really noticeable there as well. For that reason, if I have the choice I'll always stick to the Japanese voices, partly because I'm a heck of an Otaku too though. Smilie

I might mention, my mother tongue is German(in case you think it's English Smilie ) and whenever I hear German voice acting in a game or an anime, I freak out. Maybe it's just that German voice actors mostly suck but I really find that almost everything sounds so horribly cheesy and fake in German. Smilie Although to be fair, I've heard a lot of really horrible English voice acting in the past as well.
