Natalie Brooks Finds Lost Kingdom on Nintendo DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Having previously released Samantha Swift and the Hidden Roses of Athena and Midnight Mysteries: The Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy, Easy Interactive will be releasing Natalie Brooks: Treasures of the Lost Kingdom on Nintendo DS. Fans of the hidden object genre can seek it out on April 28th 2011, and will only need to part with 25 gold coins to begin their treasure hunt. £24.99, that is.

Natalie's grandfather has been kidnapped and Natalie, fancying herself as a teenage wonder-detective, sets out an adventure to find him herself rather than calling the police and sitting about fretfully eating cake like most people would. Not only that, but there's a treasure map to pursue, a curse to evade, and a secret involving a president and a ghost train to unravel. Not your typical Crimewatch scenario, then.

Over the course of seven chapters, players will help Natalie track down hundreds of missing items and take part in a variety of mini-games. Should anybody get stuck, they can take advantage of the unlimited hint system.

“The Natalie Brooks series has already proven to be incredibly popular with its native audience on the PC and with its addictive gameplay and charming animation, we’re sure DS owners will find Natalie Brooks: Treasures of the Lost Kingdom to be a real delight.” - Michel van Elmpt, Easy Interactive Managing Director.

That crucial information again: Natalie Brooks: Treasures of the Lost Kingdom will launch on Nintendo DS on April 28th in the UK, for an RRP of £24.99. We've popped some screenshots of the PC version in the media folder below.

i clicked on the news thinking "Lost Kingdom, where did I hear that before... oh yeah that GameCube RPG developped by From Software !!"

That one wasn't exactly great though :/...

The first one had its flaws, but the second was easily one of the Cube's most underrated games. The series definitely deserves another chance. Smilie
