Bit.Trip Saga Goes 3D on 3DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Gaijin Games has announced a compilation of the Bit.Trip series for 3DS, with all six titles remade in 3D!

All six titles will be updated to output in 3D with special effects and visual tricks that take advantage of the hardware. The bundle includes Bit.Trip Beat, Core, Void, Runner, Fate and Flux in a single retail package, published by Aksys.

BIT.TRIP is a long-running downloadable series revolving around the rhythmic adventures of CommanderVideo - a blend of classic 80s design, sound and a dollop of modern tilt control. Ride along with CommanderVideo as he takes on his extra long mission in a bid to return...home!

I've never played any of these games but they do look very interesting, so I certainly won't say no to a portable compilation with added 3D for roughly the same price as all games together on WiiWare. Smilie Those being portable is actually a huge factor to me as I enjoy these type of games much more on a handheld. Oh and from the footage I've seen from these games, the 3D should look sick and probably make you feel sick as well. XD

Sounds like a must-have. Smilie

Agreed, this kind of game seems to work so much better on a portable. I downloaded a trial of (I think) Fate (is that the on-rails one where you ride a wave?) and thought it was interesting but not something I'd play on a console. I've always thought Runner looked fantastic however.

Add me on anything. I'm always looking for new friends/opponents/town visitors/chances to appear more popular than I actually am.

So its going to fuck with my eyes even more than my ears now? Count me in >.<

I also tried FATE and I hated it. BEAT was so much better.

This will be awesome!! One of my frist Eshop downloads next to Megaman Legends 3 prototype.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

e-shop? I was under the impression that it will be a boxed release.
And I think it's well worth it, considering how much crap is being retailed these days.
