Kid Icarus: Uprising Site Launches

Nintendo has launched the official Japanese website for the Sakurai-lead Kid Icarus project for 3DS.

The site hosts a handful of older videos and gameplay footage, as well as details on Nintendo's big Mii recruitment for the Goshogawara's Tachineputa festival, during which a Mii float will be created. To enter your Mii, submit a saved Mii to the Nintendo Japan website. The float will also don protagonist Pit and his goddess chum Partena.

Kid Icarus: Uprising is due out at the end of the year.

The backround tune has also done the YouTube rounds, but its composer remains a mystery. Sakurai answered a curious fan over Twitter, stating that one of the many composers who penned a tune for Super Smash Bros. Brawl is working on the game. It could be anyone!
