Voice Actress Tries Earth Seeker Wii on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Japanese voice actress Hisako Kanemoto went hands-on with Craft & Meister's Wii realtime RPG, Earth Seeker in a recent session.

Kanemoto embarks on a "Mysterious Treasure" quest in a newly created "Earth". You take on the role of a chap who's crash landed on a new planet, and his ship's tried to recreated earth from its huge encyclopedia of knowledge. Because of the crash though, the computer creates new, freaky lifeforms from a combination of objects - say a chair and an octopus for example. These creatures start to dominate "new Earth".

Earth Seeker is primarily a real-time RPG with monsters appearing in an open world, however time can be frozen to input commands by what's known as the "Time Stop Battle" system.

The Wii-exclusive is due for release June 23 in Japan. A Western release has yet to be mentioned.

I forgot about this game. Its a shame the RPGs took so long. Its a shame that third party games with substance come out in small treacles.

This for me might be nintendos best year. Last story, xenoblade, earth seeker and zelda. All games with big story driven worlds to explore. Games that will take longer then 5hrs to complete.

Japanese is soooo weird, hi! Why do they keep greeting eachother after every sentence? "Hi!" - "Hi!"

I might import this in Japanese if nothing is announced for a western release by the end of the Summer. Same for Pandora's Tower Smilie.

Looks nice & I DEFINATLY like the PSO style. Hope this gets localized to the USAofA as well!!

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

Thought I noticed her voice, but she's only been in one thing I've seen (Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka?).

Still, I hope this and Pandora's Tower get announced for western release at E3, it would just make the Wii's last year epic (in terms of RPG's).

Thats a fantasic story concept.

Beats the hell out of furry people in flying ships or whatever tired cliches most rpgs go for.
