E311 Media | Paper Mario Flutters onto Nintendo 3DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo has unveiled a new trailer for its brand new Paper Mario title on 3DS, as well as some tasty screenshots that show how the game looks just as attractive as Super Paper Mario on Wii. Play through the latest instalment of Intelligent Systems' renowned series of turn-based, comedic RPGs, wandering through familiar-looking locations and encountering Goombas, Koopa Troopas and plenty of nefarious bad guys.

Seeing as how Bowser's Inside Story is just fucking annoying at times and overall enjoyable but not all that great, I say yes. Yes, this can easily surpass M&LBIS.

Joking aside, I can't agree with you. It's just too bland and repetitive for me. Can't give you any specific examples seeing as I haven't played in a while, but yeah. =/

Hopefully this will be on par with Paper Mario 2. PM2 was my first PM game, and hell, it was awesome. Full of humour, whacky characters, brilliant music, tons of locations and battle moves. It was an incredible game. I hope the fact this is a handheld game doesn't mean it won't be as big as the console games.

I'm a bigger fan of the Paper Mario series than the Mario & Luigi one. I'm looking forward to this one Smilie. Might be the 3DS game I look forward to the most actually Smilie.

This looks amazing, I can't wait for it. I've only ever played Paper Mario and Super Paper Mario, I'm so glad this is returning to the Paper Mario style of gameplay. Smilie
