2004 Preview
So many games, so little time...

2003 has been a busy old year. Nintendo have been predicted to go out of business and dump the GameCube for the umpteenth and the company is still showing no signs of disappearing for a fair old while. So that means we have a load of great games to look forward to over the next 12 months. So come with us as we take you on a journey through the most exciting games of 2004...

First up we have previews of two of 2004's quieter titles. On Page 2 you can find Harvest Moon a title that will appeal to any gamer with a respect for creative beauty whilst on Page 3 we have Beyond Good and Evil from Ubi Soft. A game that should have been out on the GameCube this year, but various things have made it move into the New Year. Both are very exciting titles and fully earn their place in our 'Best of 2004' list.

Over the next few days in the run-up to the New Year we are going to bring you a massive list of titles that we think will be the best of 2004. Of course, there should be many that we don't even know about now, announced at E3 for example, so if you think we have missed out some titles that is only because we know nothing about them as of yet. From all here at Cubed3, have a great end to 2003 and a prosperous and great 2004.

Harvest Moon

Beyond Good and Evil

Time for an update to this feature as we bring you Part 2 of our 2004 Preview. The two games this issue couldn't be more different in focus and target audience. Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles is a massive RPG that promises to be one of the most eagerly awaited out of all the top titles for 2004. It is a return to Nintendo for Square Enix and we have no doubt the long wait will be worth it. The second game this issue is Geist, a title that has been shrowded in mystery for so many months but we have uncovered every pickle of information we could find. If it isn't in here it just isn't true. Stay tuned to Cubed3 for Part 3 very soon...

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles

Seeing as all here at Cubed3 are having a well-deserved day off on Christmas Day we are launching Part Three a day early! The two games this time round are Killer 7 and Pikmin 2. The latter is the sequel to the quirky title that appeared on the GameCube shortly after it launched. This time around we are being promised multiplayer fun, some excellent environments and more besides. The first title, Killer 7, is shrouded in mystery, but will no doubt be one game that looks to push away Nintendo's kiddy image. Amazing visuals and a concept so mysterious even we're confused this is going to be one of the most interesting titles of 2004! Part 4 soon...

Pikmin 2

About time for another update, and we're not even close to being done yet. This time around things get really interesting. Starfox 2 and Resident Evil 4 are two massive titles for 2004 and promise to be big hitters on the GameCube. Starfox 2 is all a bit unknown at the moment, with only real details coming out at E3 2003. Resident Evil 4 we know a bit more about and it seems to be more scary than ever before. Anyway, enough of our jabbering, to find out more about these two titles check out the previews by clicking the links below. More soon!

Resident Evil 4

Part 5 then, and perhaps a game that some might not have chosen. Four Swords isn't a true Zelda title, but we're deeply excited about it all the same. But first in Part 5 we have a preview of what will, without doubt, be one of the most anticipated games of 2004. Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes is a massive game and we hope an excellent one. The final part will be with you before the end of the year.

Due to the site system being a bit strange we have had to put Part 6 in another article. The link is just down there for you to click. Donkey Konga and Pok
