Kid Icarus: Uprising Coming to Europe Early 2012? on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Kid Icarus: Uprising maybe delayed till 2012 in Europe. The news comes from a post-E3 event held in the Netherlands, where Nintendo site, N1ntendo managed to get their hands on a new fact-sheet for the game. According to the printed date, it is now planned to be released during Q1 2012 in European territories. Despite the potential delay, there are no reasons as to what’s caused it.

The intention to include an online mode was mentioned recently by Masahiro Sakurai, so it's possible the game may have been delayed to further develop the feature. There's no information on whether the game has been delayed in the US

You know, I feel like being upset about this but with us getting the "Big 3" Wii games and the amount of great (first-party) 3DS games by the end of this year, it's really hard to complain about Kid Icarus: Uprising coming out a few months later in early 2012.

If it is for adding online then it is A OK. There as so darn many other games on the horizon that it can actually wait. I wish they would have done the same with StarFox so they could add online. I am not a big online gamer I must add, but some games just would do good with it (and it would help Nintendo's reputation). The game does look great though and I am eager to test it out ASAP... Maybe we'll get a demo one...LOL

I'm okay with waiting. This game needs to be really polished. If they're taking extra time to make a decent online mode... that's exactly what they need to do.

If they pull it off, it could be huge for Nintendo. The only thing they lack as a company is online communities for their games.
