Square Enix Reveals Heroes of Ruin-Branded 3DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Square Enix has revealed the first of what will likely be many limited-edition branded 3DS hardware models - a Heroes of Ruin design.

The Japanese publisher's exclusive 3DS collaboration with developer n-Space is getting matching hardware to boot - a spiffy black model adorning an emblem on the back, and a slightly awkward logo below the face buttons.

This one will truly be a rarity in the wild as Square Enix is only giving it away through an online competition.

I'm sorry but this game still looks as generic as Lord of Archana on the psp...I swear Square is loosing it & they better not eff up the Final Fantasy VI remake on 3DS!!

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

True, this game does look very generic, but I see it as good introduction to an MMO-esque type game, albeit obviously on a smaller scale. I'm not expecting brilliance, I am simply going to use the game as a learning experience before I move onto a more expansive RPG.
