Yoshiaki Koizumi, Super Mario Galaxy director is hard at work pondering the next 3D Mario and already has "too many ideas"!
Koizumi, who lent his talents to the brilliant Wii platforming pair, has been thinking up new ideas and improved gameplay mechanics for the porky plumber's next big adventure. How exactly will the Wii U work with the traditional 3D Mario game?
Speaking to Official Nintendo Magazine, a rather exciting Koizumi confessed:
As it turns out, I have too many ideas at the moment for Mario games on Wii U. I'm going to have to start narrowing them down and thinking about which ideas might work well together so that the whole system will be an enjoyable experience rather than a hodgepodge of ideas.
What would you like to see in a new Mario game for Wii U, aside from Nintendo's ever-gorgeous art style in HD?
Should Mario revert back to a more open-world setup, or retain a slightly more linear feel akin to Super Mario Galaxy?
Would you like a Super Mario Galaxy 3, or should Nintendo explore a new theme all-together?
