Back to the Future Heading to Wii? on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The US branch of Gamestop have listed a Wii version of TellTale's episodic Back to the Future adventure as a retail release.

The project was originally hinted at for a Wii release as part of the multiplatform downloads but eventually lost out to PlayStation 3, iPad and PC/Mac. Wii owners gagging for a slice of classic point-and-click adventuring with Marty McFly and Doc Brown may be in luck.

Though not confirmed officially, Back to the Future: The Game is listed on the GameStop website as a retail compilation for a nifty bargain price of $19.99 and a release date of October 25th.

The listing has sat comfortably online for several days now, so does have a strong likelyhood of being true.

Back to the Future fans, would you purchase the adventure for Wii as a single package?

That would be awesome if they were to release that in Europe as well... if the story is true of course Smilie.

This is awesome news, I have wanted this game ever since i first saw it advertised, but my pc was too weak to play it, so I would be very glad to see it coming to the wii!!!

This would be great news for Wii only owners. I had a lot fun playing all 5 episodes to review over at PS3Blog.net and if priced properly ($20-30 tops) this would bring in more sales which could in turn allow them to do a Season 2.

Wasn't it already released on the Wii??

I started episode 1 (free demo), but I never finished it... I guess I should, it was decent fun.

IGN relayed the info and mentioned a "recent agreement" to develop games for the Wii. As usual they don't mention what their source is though :
