Harvest Moon Sells a Million in Europe on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Over 1 million copies of Marvelous Interactive's popular farming simulation Harvest Moon have sold across Europe in the last decade.

Publisher Rising Star Games has handled over 13 different entries in the continent, including Harvest Moon DS, Tree of Tranquility, Sunshine Islands and various others. The series is set to launch its Grand Bazaar in Europe with another installment for Nintendo DS on September 30th.

Reaching 1m sales of Harvest Moon is certainly a cause for celebration and we are ecstatic. This is a huge achievement for us. It goes to show what a strong market there is for Japanese games in the PAL market and that Rising Star Games is one of the top independent publishers in the UK.

So I guess this doesn't include Rune Factory. Harvest Moon is fun for a while but I prefer Rune Factory's RPG elements.

I agree I like the Rune Factory games better ,I'm looking forward to the best RF so far, Rune Factory 3 out soon, as far as Harvest moon, HM Friends of Mineral Town on GBA, HM Sunshine Islands on NDS and HM Magical Melody on GC are my favorites.
I own all versions of Harvest Moon on Nintendo consoles apart from SNES version, and Tree of Tranquility and Animal Parade.Smilie
