New Trailer for Sonic Generations 3DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Combining footage from the opening zones of Sonic 1 and Sonic & Knuckles respectively, with a mishmash of Sonic Heroes Special Stage goodness, Sonic looks ready for his first 3DS outing.


 


Developed by Dimps, the team responsible for the two Sonic Rush games and Sonic Colours DS, the game promises alternate Zones to that of the HD Generations games, and an Online Versus Mode with Streetpass support thrown in for good measure.

I really should get round to completing Sonic & Knuckles, for some reason I found it hard to get into after the first few levels.

This looks a lot better than the first footage shown.

Why the f*** are there red reticles on classic Sonic's levels? Here's hoping they're just left overs from Modern's programming. Smilie

Noticed this too. Seem to be fucking about with classic Sonic on the 3DS version. Definitely sticking to the PS3 with this game. Might pick it up one day on 3DS if it drops hella cheap.

Yeah, the red reticles were just on Modern Sonic, although the Old and New Green Hill Zone blend in pretty well.

Probably just an error. The game seems to have changed a fair bit over development.
