Multiplayer Kirby on Wii in November on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Transport you and your family to Planet PopStar for some side-scrolling, platform fun when Kirby’s Adventure Wii launches on 25th November, 2011. You can read Cubed3's recent hands-on preview here.

When an alien spaceship crashes in the peaceful Planet PopStar, its pieces are scattered throughout the land. Guide Kirby as he retrieves the ship’s parts and helps the aliens return to their home planet. Meet Kirby’s friends Meta Knight, King Dedede and Waddle Dee and help him to use his powerful Copy Ability to inhale, spit or transform his way to victory this Christmas.

Play on your own or recruit up to three friends and family to join in the fun. Whether you all want to play as Kirby, each in a different colour, or mix things up by all taking a different character - Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede and Waddle Dee - enjoy playing co-operatively to repair the Lor Starcutter, the spaceship that has crashed on Planet Popstar and collect Energy Spheres. Your friends can jump in and out of the game at any time if you fancy some co-op fun. Those who need a little help from the other characters can jump on their backs and hitch a ride. Competitive families will also love the new Ninja Dojo, the ninja star throwing Game, where you use the Wii Remote motion control to swing ninja stars at a target. Can you hit the bullseye?

Kirby’s Copy Abilities give him special powers in Kirby’s Adventure Wii. He copies the abilities of his enemies after inhaling them and then wears a range of matching costumes and hats. For example, the Spear Copy Ability allows Kirby to thrust and manoeuvre a spear in different ways, as well as throw spears at enemies and obstacles. That is not all, Kirby has numerous other Copy Abilities including Sword Kirby, Whip Kirby, Ninja Kirby and Fighter Kirby where he becomes a martial artist complete with judo throws. Kirby can also take on Super Abilities when you inhale large special glowing enemies. Be careful how you use them because they only last a limited period of time, these new Super Abilities help to deal massive damage to enemies and destroying large amounts of obstacles, showing new paths and hidden objects.

Kirby's Adventure Wii launches on 25th November exclusively for Wii.

Are you nuts, NoE? :O How am I supposed to buy and play Skyward Sword, Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7 and this game when they're all so damn close together?

Get used to it--it's only going to get worse from here--I remember waiting a 6 months to a year for a good game came out--now they are coming out left and right--I'd say I pick up at least 1 new game each month..Especially getting closer to the holiday--hell even October is crazy with PS3/360/PC games--Rage, Battlefield 3, Dark Souls, Arkam City--come November it is going to be a swamped gaming arena--it's a shame they don't spread these around more.

There's no shame in waiting to pick up a game. It might even drop in price!

I've got to agree with SirLink's frustration with the Feast or Famine trend Nintendo's been having us deal with.

I'd much rather have everything spread out nicely over the year and have good selections all the time, but I guess they just wouldn't make the same kind of money that well.

But if my biggest complaint is having TOO many awesome games out at once... the times are good, eh?

Like video game music?!
