Pokédex 3D Gets Spotpass Update on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo has quietly released an update for the Pokémon Black/White 3DS app, Pokédex 3D, introducing new AR features.

The latest build introduces a handful of additional features for players to use in the Augmented Reality (AR) mode, Pause; Note button, Background Settings; Scale Settings; Stopwatch Button - according to Siliconera. You can play with the size of your Augmented creatures and even now use one of your 3DS camera snaps as the backdrop for your virtual buddies.

The selection is still restricted to the critters found in Black and White, however there is promise for expanding into other regions too, said Pokémon Company president, Tsunekazu Ishihara.
