EU Tales of the Abyss (Nintendo 3DS) Date Confirmed on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe has today announced the launch date for the debut of the acclaimed Tales of series on Nintendo 3DS, with Tales of the Abyss scheduled for release on the 25th November, 2011.

Tales of the Abyss for Nintendo 3DS is based on the critically-acclaimed PlayStation 2 role-playing game of the same name. Delivering 3D support and use of the dual screens, Tales of the Abyss offers a new gameplay experience and brings players closer to the action. Tales of the Abyss tells the story of Luke fon Fabre, sole heir to a family of aristocrats, as he is suddenly thrust into the outside world and forced to embark on an epic adventure. Naive and spoiled by years of isolation, Luke struggles to learn the importance of friendship, sacrifice, duty and his own choices. With the fate of many in his hands, Luke's actions could ultimately save the world or bring about its very destruction.

Tales of the Abyss for Nintendo 3DS will be available on the 25th November, 2011 across EMEA and Asia Pacific.

Namco Bandai has also confirmed that Tales of Graces will only be released on PlayStation 3 in 2012. Wii fans hoping for a bone to be thrown should raise their voices now before it is too late.

Great news that a solid RPG as this hits the 3DS right before Christmas. Badly needed for European 3DS fans of the genre.

Shit. Sonic Gen, Skyward Sword and this in one month!?

Edit: Argh! MK7 and Mario Land too?! Balls.

Oh wow, I didn't actually expect my assumption based on the date I saw on Amazon.de to be true. Nov 25th is a tight spot though, right between Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7. Of course, then there's also Skyward Sword and Kirby's Adventure on the Wii...

I think I'll end up getting Skyward Sword, Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 during that period. I'll keep an eye on Tales of the Abyss though, in case it actually becomes rare and skyrockets in price when I'm not looking. You never really know with games like this one.

That's what happened to Devil Survivor Overclocked in the US. It might be one of those that, as soon as you see it drop to a good price, snap it up immediately.

Yep, that's what I was thinking. I may or may not give in a bit earlier though, just to be on the safe side.

@Phoenixus: Lol, your edit is hilarious. Smilie

Cool. Huge shame about the other game though...

Most likely I'll be picking it up because I've been wanting to play it for ages! I played the first part of it and I enjoyed it.
