New Mario & Sonic 2012 Trailer Runs Out on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

With Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games due to dash into Europe on Nintendo Wii very soon, SEGA have put together a new trailer showing off plenty of the included events. There are over 30 competitions this time, mixing realistic events with fantasy ones inspired by the franchise's past games.

The one-time rivals have once again come together to compete in a number of sporting events: football, tennis, horse riding, canoeing and traditional races, to name but a few. There's also a bizarre approach to swimming, with Mario and co remaining entirely in their traditional attire while posing in the water - though that's probably for the best.

You can read Cubed3's preview of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games here while you wait for the game's release on November 18th. A 3DS version will be arriving next February.

Will you be getting sporty with Sonic and Mario?

bizarre approach to swimming

Synchronised swimming by the looks of it.

If I played a lot more offline multiplayer I'd be a lot more interested in this. Might try it out eventually. Lots of interesting sports in it.

I was referring to their dress sense.

Sorry, sorry, misread!
