Sonic Generations Speeds Into 3D This Week on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Sonic Generations already launched on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 earlier this month, but despite the lack of a Wii version Nintendo aren't letting the hog escape that quickly. 3DS instead is getting its own, completely different edition, filled with new levels and boss battles from Sonic's history.

If taking Sonic through the stages of multiple eras past and present, playing as both Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic, is not enough, Sonic Generations 3DS will also feature StreetPass and multiplayer content to keep players coming back. It's out this Friday, November 25th.

I'm waiting on the C3 review before I decide whether this is worth my purchase or not. This week, I'm getting Tales of the Abyss Smilie !

My copy arrived today, I'll probably start playing it after I finish Skyward Sword though. If I actually get around to finishing it today. Haven't even played it at all today. xD

I wanted to play it before saying anything, but honestly i didnt think much of it. levels are too short, bad level design with way too many pitfalls that are unforgiving and unannounced, frustraiting moving platforms that are too slow or too fast and the contrast between "classic" and "modern" are completely blured. If people are on the fence about this id say give it a miss or get the proper version on console or steam.
