THE WINNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ARRANGING THEIR OWN TRAVEL, LIFE, CAR, ACCIDENT, PROPERTY, OR OTHER FORM INSURANCE.

What ? The prize isn't sent through the post, you need to go claim it ?

I guess I already know the answer, but this isn't open to C3 staff right ? (the terms and rule aren't all clear to me...)

EMPLOYEES OF UBISOFT, ITS SUBSIDIARIES OR RELATED COMPANIES, AND THEIR RELATIVES AND REPRESENTATIVES OR AGENTS FROM PARTNER COMPANIES OR INTERMEDIARIES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER THIS COMPETITION.

That means no Cubed3 staff can enter, since we're a partner company / intermediary for this competition Smilie

LOL wut?! This is seriously the hardest competition I've ever seen. Still tho, for a 3DS I'll give it a go over the weekend.

Oh, wow, the drawbacks of being staff! Smilie

I certainly hope that this puzzle does indeed draw in attention from fans of tough conundrums.

Time to start Googling names of birds Smilie

Remember that you can find bird names going diagonally backwards and forwards. I've found a lot already! I know I can't enter, but the puzzler inside me wanted to at least try Smilie

EDIT: Got down to 11 words remaining in about 10 minutes. It's not THAT hard, folks. Don't be too intimidated Smilie

EDIT 2: 5 words left! This is a nice little puzzle Smilie

Well, I just managed to solve it. Took me a good 45 minutes at least. That was actually pretty tough!Smilie

Done. It got hard to find them towards the end when the grid was covered in green lines.

Need 3 more... D:

And I need 6 more. I wanted to complete it just for the fun, but I guess my knowledge of names of birds in English is too limited XD, there were quite a few which I had never heard of before Smilie.

Edit : 1 left now, this is exciting Smilie

Edit 2 : Finally got them all Smilie.

Tough competition guys, although I guess the prize is worth it!
It started getting hard with about 10 remaining.

Hurrah, I'm done!
Edit: Didn't find Psyduck. Smilie

The answer is meant to be a secret! Smilie

Crap. Please folks, no posting your answers on here. Follow the steps within the game if you got the answer. (Plus, sharing the answer with the world reduces your own chances to win the prize, which is pretty dumb)

See, I knew Cubed3 readers wouldn't let the side down. We've always had a strong base of puzzle lovers here!

I actually found it was easier towards the end because you can figure out the hidden message and know what outstanding letters don't fit into it, meaning they must be linked to bird names.

Good luck to those who completed it and thanks for entering!

fantastic puzzle.
Just worked out the answer Smilie
Well done to whoever made it.

pffffffffffff Still busy it is taking me about 4 hours now !!!!

Quite a problem to find birdnames if english isn't your native language Smilie

I forgot to post, but I finished this last night. Can't believe it took me so long to find the last two birds.

Interestingly, the answer is in a recent Spiderman issue Smilie

Kimberley, I'm not an english native speaker either, and I could find them all without using a dictionary or anything (But i did check online what certain birds were because their names, I had never heard before Smilie)

Anyway, this proves that it is possible for a non-native speaker to find them all, so don't give up Smilie.
