Nintendo 3DS Shines Down Under on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Over in Australia Nintendo has stormed the hardware charts with the fastest ever selling console to in the country, the 3DS.

The publisher today confirmed that since launch the Nintendo 3DS has sold over 200,000 in just 37 weeks in store shelves - making the hardware the fastest to reach this level of sales in the country's history with Game Boy and PlayStations.

The Nintendo 3DS originally made its debut for a staggering $349.95 AUS but was since reduced to a far more affordable £249.95 in August.
