One dedicated 3DS owner has adapted the Swapnote application to whip up a simple role playing game to be shared and played amongst friends.
The game designer has shared the concept via a YouTube video, dubbed "SNRPG", where players act as a Dungeon Master and use the graph paper stationary (unlocked in Swapnote for 5 coins) - to draw out a dungeon and pack it full of monsters, traps, treasures etc. The Dungeon Master then reveals rooms to players via swapnotes and they respond with actions.
Creator Ben Gray is requesting more ideas via the YouTube video and Twitter (@MNCDover) to develop the idea further, especially with Nintendo's currently limited interface for Swapnote.
What do you think of the Swapnote RPG idea? Will you be getting involved? What other concepts would work well with Swapnote for 3DS?
