Resident Evil Revelations Circle Pad Bundle Exclusive to Zavvi on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Online UK retailer Zavvi has earned exclusive rights to sell the bundle of Resident Evil Revelations and the Circle Pad Pro for Nintendo 3DS.

This was announced last month on the Zavvi blog page. The bundle is available to pre-order now for just £29.95.

Anticipation is rising for Capcom’s latest Resident Evil adventure. The Nintendo 3DS-exclusive Revelations recently scored 91% in the latest issue of Gamesmaster magazine, and today we are proud to announce that an exclusive bundle is now available for pre-order here. The set includes a copy of the game along with the brand new (and official) Circle Pad Pro peripheral.

This bundle is a zavvi exclusive, and won’t be available anywhere else in the UK.

The Circle Pad Pro is a new accessory for Nintendo 3DS, designed to increase the way the player enjoys Nintendo 3DS software. It consists of a shell that the Nintendo 3DS slots into with an additional Circle Pad on the right-hand side (termed “Right Circle Pad” or “Circle Pad (R)”) and three shoulder buttons; these are R Button and the new ZR and ZL Buttons.

The player uses his Circle Pad Pro by slotting his Nintendo 3DS console into the accessory; the console will then recognise the accessory via infrared transceiver.

The new accessory allows some Nintendo 3DS software titles to be played more efficiently and comfortably by the use of the new Right Circle Pad (for example, games that are “twin-stick shooters”), as well as offering new features via the new shoulder buttons (depending on software).

Resident Evil Revelations will be released in the UK and the rest of Europe on Friday, 27th January, 2012.

F that, I'm not buying my copy from them. I'll buy them both separately at HMV.

Damn, what a deal. You basically get the Circle Pad Pro for free...

Why not? This bundle is a steal at just £29.95.

I think I know where I'm buying mine from, GAME! Smilie

I'm going to wait and see what other games will be using this, especially since I'm hoping Kid Icarus does. I've never used the second analogue stick in any Resident Evil game and it's not necessary in this one (neither are the extra buttons) but it's a good deal if more games are announced for the CPP.

It's a good deal regardless... can you not see that you're getting the Circle Pad Pro for free?

Yeah, that's what I meant to say, I was just writing without thinking.

Dammit to holy hell I'll never get rid of that £20 GameStation gift card. Meant to use it for Zelda and forgot, and now Zavvi have this exclusively... I thought Zavvi went under last year!

Add me on anything. I'm always looking for new friends/opponents/town visitors/chances to appear more popular than I actually am.

Yeah, all Zavvi stores closed down, but they converted into a online marketplace.

I waited four days after launch for my copy of Shadows of the Damned to arrive / I also have over 6000 HMV points to spend.

Good luck on launch day.

I don't care about getting it late. It's a bargain. Smilie I still have other games to play anyways.. and although I really want to play this, I can wait an extra 4 days if I have to.

Oh and just because they sent you something late doesn't mean to say everything they send will arrive late. I have got games and DVDs from Amazon late, but whenever I ask someone else, they always say they've had great service with Amazon.
