Watch Netflix on Your UK Wii on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Popular US video streaming and rental service Netflix has sailed across the Atlantic to the UK, including a channel for Wii.

The new channel is now available to grab on the Wii Shopping Channel for free, however a £5.99 monthly subscription will be required to access content over the internet. The provider is rolling out a month's free trial though, so players are able to sample a vast catalogue of TV and film right away.

Netflix is also available on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Mac, iPad and Apple TV.

Have you downloaded the channel yet and will you be accessing your favourites on demand?

It's even on 3DS in the US. Maybe we'll get the same treatment on 3DS over here as well ?

Hopefully it will do. It'll be nice to be able to watch more video content on the 3DS.

Question, is it better to have my wii wired directly to my router? Via a cat 5 cable any ideas?
