Nintendo of America has announced that you'll be able to get 3D Classics: Kid Icarus with Kid Icarus: Uprising if you pre-order the game at selected stores in the US. The game is an updated version of the classic original, with improved visuals and added 3D effect. There's been no word on what stores the deal will be available at yet or whether it will come to other parts of the world.

At the moment, European 3DS owners can get 3D Classics: Kid Icarus for free by registering two 3DS games from an eligible list by January 31st 2012.

Looks pretty decent though the gameplay wreaks of the N64 era for some odd reason?

A space kraken? Well, that came outta nowhere.

What a sucker.

I can already tell, I'm going to love the dialogue in this game. Smilie It doesn't take itself seriously at all and the voices, despite being horrid, actually fit this type of dialogue very well.

Well I'm liking all the different weapons you get in the game. Hopefully online can be completely (atleast 90%) lag free.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

THIS! THIS NINTENDO! This is what they should have done to begin with since the start of wii! This is the type of marketing tactic they should of implimented from the start, buy a game and get a related retro game as a bonus as intensive to buy on launch date, have more people use their online services and a little reward for buying you games, not pirating (though you could emulate anyway but still...) but no, instead they flogged their old games for silly prices for extra bucks. Still this is just one gift of afew we've had since 3ds was released, so perhaps we'll be seeing more cool actions like this in the future. but man.... "buy metroid prime trilogy and get Super metroid free"... people would of gone apeshit over that.

Finally a little generosity from stoneage Nintendo.
