A dedicated Legend of Zelda fan has combined his love for LEGO to campaign for the series to embrace the brick.

The leading toy manufacturer has an online service running known as LEGO Cuusoo, a platform for fans to pitch ideas and after gathering support from over 10,000 others, will receive a look-in by LEGO themselves. If approved will then stand a chance of being produced if the original license holder agrees.

The site is packed to the brim with all sorts of nifty ideas, now including The Legend of Zelda LEGO, which needs your support! Creator Mingles has even put together a set of nifty mock-ups should Link ever go Minifigure.

With enough support, he hopes Nintendo's world of Hyrule will receive the same treatment that Minecraft achieved once hitting 10,000.

No one said anything about a LEGO Zelda videogame.

I can't see why anyone would not want Zelda LEGO (as in the toy). I haven't bought any LEGO for years, but I'd buy this straight away if it came into existence.

I gave my support. If it was for a videogame version I'd rather stick lego bricks under my eye-lids, but as a real life set, why not?
Ask for my 3DS Friend Code, especially if you play Mario Kart 7 or Zen Pinball. I need to expand my friend list!

Makes more sense then Minecraft. Zelda is a theme.
Minecraft is like asking for "Lego Lego".

But yes, Zelda, Metroid, Mario...would all make great sets. (hell, perhaps even some AR cross-premotion on the 3DS?)

I'd also for non-gaming would like to see Back To The Future lego Smilie

Dude, this would be awesome. But when they do cross-promotions, they usually pick a location to revolve around. Like for Harry Potter, it was obviously Hogwarts. Idk what it would be for Zelda, and another thing to consider, which Zelda games are they gonna think about using?

For me I'd prefer the SNES GEM (& my personal fav) A Link to the Past. It had SOOOOO much content for it's time & the coolest bosses in the series to date!! But for popularities sake they'll probably make an Ocarina of Time series set.

    I can see them now...

    Set 1: Kokiri Forest
    Set 2: Lon Lon Ranch
    Set 3: Lake Hylia
    Set 4: Hyrule Castle Market
    Set 5: Hyrule Castle
    Set 6: Zora's Domain
    Set 7: Goron City
    Set 8: Kakariko Village
    Set 9: Gerudo Training Ground
    Set 10: Ganon's Castle

And they'd release a bunch of combo sets to build preset dungeons that can also combine with eachother, complete with swiveling doors, switches & Treasure Chests along with a boss from each dungeon!!

I respect lego' pedigree but no, no, no. Where would it end? Lego Mario? Lego pokemon?? Besides Nintendo just announce nfc. I'd prefer collectable figures that actually work with their games.
