With fans appreciating a more classic approach to the Capcom's 3DS zombie fest, Resident Evil: Revelations, will there be more similar games?
Revelations churns your adrenelin, induces sweat and injects a pure, almost untained survival horror appeal that has created a more "classic" appeal amongst fans. The long-running franchise has been almost divided into two very disctive eras - "classic" and "modern", with those considered purists feeling that the series had lost the horror feeling that it had become known for.
The new 3DS-exclusive entry took a step back into a more horror-orientated atmosphere and less full-on action. It has spurred fans to ask Capcom whether the studio has more plans for similar styled Resident Evil projects - even budget or downloadable.
The answer came in the shape of Revelations - 3DS game is "probably the closest RE classic purists are going to get", according to Senior VP, Christian Svensson.
Another fan asked whether the next game Resident Evil 6 would make a Wii U appearance, which was then fizzled into a "no announcements at this time" reply.
