Fire Emblem 3DS Euro Bound, New Trailers on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

During the Nintendo Direct conference today, the localised edition of the latest Fire Emblem for 3DS was confirmed for Europe.

Known as Awakening over in Japan, it's due out in April and has subsequently been confirmed for a 2012 release window over these shores.

Japan will be getting a series of nifty DLC, including maps and additional optional missions, for free for a just over a month ending May 2012 - it's uncertain whether the European edition will receive similar treatment/a free period for download.

HELL YES! Smilie I'm really looking forward to this game and was sold on it since its announcement!

Anyone else think that the new main character looks awfully similar to Marth, especially in the part at around 0:55?

Btw, the audio in the video featured in the news post is not in sync with the actual footage; it's off by a few seconds. This one right here is better. Smilie

Changed it to your one SirLink.

Looks great, and after starting The Sacred Stones, I can see why people really love the series.

That's great to hear! Nintendo making The Sacred Stones an Ambassador game really seems to get a lot of people new to the series hooked, ones that probably wouldn't have tried it otherwise.

While I haven't actually played it yet, I am excited that it was one of the games because I probably would never have tried the series otherwise.
