Theatrhythm & Kingdom Hearts 3D Get EU & US Release Dates on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Square Enix has announced European and North American release dates for the latest entries in two of their biggest franchises.

Music game Theatrhythm Final Fantasy will be releasing on July 3rd in North America, with Europe getting it a few days later on July 6th.

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance arrives at the back end of the month on July 31st for North Americans. The European version will come a good eleven days earlier on July 20th.

Will our readers be picking up any of these games?

I'm hoping the rumoured July 27th KH3D release date for Europe is true. It seems pretty plausible as games are usually released on Sunday in the US (which the 31st is) and Friday in the UK (yep, the 27th is Friday).

Either way, I cannot wait for KH! Smilie

July 31st is a Tuesday.

European dates seem confirmed now, anyway :] KH3D arrives three days later, rather than earlier, so August 3rd for us. Same deal for TRFF.

I'd like to pick up KH3D, but it's such a story-heavy series, that I want to fill myself in with Birth By Sleep and possibly the DS games before diving into it.

TRFF has been a day one since the day it was announced.

It was a Sunday last year, so maybe you somehow checked that. Smilie

I was wondering why GameStop wasn't allowing preorders for Theatrythm, thanks for the update now I know there isn't a confirmed date yet so I'm not as confused...hopfully this means Square is adding more content to both English versions (BIGGER CAST PLEASE!!) & may even decide to include all the DLC songs straight onto the cart.

Awwww...lucky brits getting KH early!! I don't want to hear ANY spoilers from you guys...got it. :-x

TFF has a July 3rd date in US, and is getting a pre-order bonus of a stylus with stickers.

The reason there is DLC is because they couldn't fit any more tracks onto the cart, so don't expect any additions.

Except in the update it says Theatrythm has a Summer release, this editor didn't change the stuff he posted afterwards. I think this correlation makes more sence since GameStop (America's LARGEST videogame specialty shop) doesn't have it listed for preorder in their computers even though July is quite close to arriving...just saying.

Oh alright sorry about that. Still it's gotta be close since July is close, you guys can't be too far away since you're getting KH3DS before us.

Really can't wait for KH3D, probably looking forward to the inclusion of the TWEWY characters the most. Just because I loved that damn game. The 2nd year of 3DS looks set out to be a great one so far. Smilie

Not sure about Theatrhythm, since I'm not really a huge fan of Final Fantasy. I played the older games in the series, but the new ones just don't appeal to me as much.
