La Mulana Canned for Western WiiWare Release

Fancy getting your mitts on the WiiWare version of La Mulana? Pubisher Nicalis has tweeted its cancellation.

The Nintendo download did make the cut last year with a Japanese release, however for the time being it'll stay that way - on Wii at least - as apparently Nintendo did not approve the project for a release in North America and Europe.

If Nintendo says a game isn’t ready for release, then it’s not ready for release. Called it unfinished or unapproved - whichever you like.
