7 Wii U Games in Development at Ubisoft on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Ubisoft have confirmed that seven projects are currently on the go for Wii U - including Rayman Legends and Marvel Avengers.

Speaking to investors this week, the chap behind all the action, Yves Guillemot, praised the company's approach to the Wii U with a strong line-up that includes seven new games - two of which are being touted as "core" and the other five, casual.

As it stands Wii U games on the way from Ubisoft include: Killer Freaks from Outer Space, Rayman Legends, Assassin's Creed III, Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online.

Not all games will be available at launch, but you can expect at least one or two to grace your Wii U from day one.

Which of these Ubisoft games interest you, and do you think the Wii U controller can refine any of these franchises?

...That's a joke right SuperLink?

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

Didn't Ubisoft have lots of launch games for the Wii? I'm pretty sure all of them sucked too.

Yep, exactly this.

Ubisoft seem to make a lot of poop games, in fact the only Ubisoft game I've really loved in recent years is Rayman Origins and that's now one of my favourite games ever. I can't name any other games by them that I've thought were amazing though.

Prince of Persia series, for me, is easily one of Ubi's best franchises after Assassin's Creed, Beyond Good & Evil and Rayman.

Guess I'm the only one who liked Red Steel then...

Didn't really like Red Steel, controls were way too slow.

I found the shooting controls were near perfect. The sword controls were pretty crap, but I still enjoyed the game a lot.

Jumping on the bandwagon for launch, going to be absolutely shockingly bad games, but Ubisoft are hoping that no one else will put games up for launch and grab unsuspecting peoples money!

Isn't this always the case? Lol. Look at both the Wii and 3DS launch. Smilie

I'm really looking forward to AC3 and Rayman. I'd also like to hear some more about Killer Freaks as well, but judging from past Ubisoft launch titles, it's probably going to suck.

Working like a fiend isn't very fun... and surprisingly isn't very fiendish either.

Unannounced games will be a Raving Rabbids mini game collection, and maybe a Red Steel 2 Wii U re-release.
