E3 2012 | Wii Fit U Accessory Details; More Than a Pedometer on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The Wii Fit U game revealed at E3 comes with a special accessory. The pedometer-looking contraption records steps, detects atmospheric changes and altitude, calories burned in a day and level of activity. Keep it attached and it can even tell what type of exercise is being done outside of the Wii Fit U software!

Infra-red technology then allows the device to track health management via the GamePad.
