E3 2012 Media | Ninja Gaiden 3 - Wii U Screenshots on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Team Ninja are bringing the a dollop of stealth and blood to Wii U, and this E3 we get a first glimpse of Ninja Gaiden 3 in action on Wii U.

Razor's Edge is a sharp as the title suggests, a pure adrenalin rush as solitary protagonist, ninja Ryu Hayabusa seeks to lift a deadly curse placed on his right arm before it destroys him. Reworked and improved with the Wii U in mind, the port brings new weapons and ninpo types exclusive to this version and more fluid action through the touch screen on the GamePad.

This panel allows players to have instant access to weapons, view maps, nleashed Ninpo attacks and view in-game details whilst prowling about for enemy blood and answers. Additional enemies, improved AI, gory dismemberment and battle arenas make this a revitalised adventure with new replay value for those who have experienced the game before, and a meaty experience for those new to the Ninja Gaiden.

Shown at E3 were a handful of screenshots not for the faint hearted.

I'm about as excited for this as I am a sword in the eye...unless Team Ninja FIXES the gameplay to make it more true to the series I'll be passing this one up.

Doesn't matter WHAT bonus content they add...this was still a crappy discrace to what Team Ninja once was.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

I have already played this game and it was rank! Such a shame to see what they did to it compared to the earlier installments!Smilie

When in doubt....Whip it out!

Well, it's being published by Nintendo (Not something major, but Nintendo could be assisting Team Ninja in the development) and they've added a few more gorier moves. I think they've made the AI better too.
