E3 2012 | Ghost Recon Online Still Wii U Bound on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Curious to as to where Ghost Recon Online is on the Wii U front? It's still on the way, according to Ubisoft.

The project was announced back in 2011, but was absent from this year's showing at E3, with the game missing from Ubisoft's large Wii U line-up. Fans can rest easy, as IGN confirms that the PC edition is getting priority, as you might expect, with the focus then shifting to the Wii U port to get it right.

Ghost Recon Online on the PC, we can test and learn with that and apply all the best benefits we learn onto the Wii U version to make sure that it’s a great Wii U game. That’s an unusual product for a console and we want to make sure we nail it. It really is because the PC team is a lot of the same guys that will work on the Wii U.

Ubisoft also noted that their new IP Watch Dogs has the potential to also come to Wii U at somepoint.
