During an investors briefing at E3 last week Nintendo highlighted a handful of third and first party 3DS titles to be available digitally.
Despite many gamers still appreciating and valuing the traditional game, box, manual approach to the ever-changing video game market, Nintendo aim to embrace the download market as an optional feature for those wanting to get the latest titles straight away.
The company won't be releasing the odd title here and there, with a solid selection coming to the eShop this year - including Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Paper Mario Sticker Star, Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion, Scribblenauts Unlimited, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate and Kingdom Hearts 3D.
We’ve got a massive list of AAA content on the way from all of the biggest names in gaming that are all proven franchises, all exclusive to our platform, and all coming to stores both in physical and digital formats in the second half of 2012.
