Just in time for Golden Week, no doubt.

Hmm, graphics looked a bit ropey in places...BUT, as someone who isn't a MonHun fan, that looked like they're taking more of a Zelda adventure approach, which might tempt me.

Sums up the whole trailer for me. Those jump attacks look freaking awesome. Smilie

Anyone else noticed that the shown areas seemed really gigantic for a MH game? I couldn't notice those typical passageways that lead you to the next part of the map with their infamous ~5s loading screens. Perhaps with the focus on using the environment to your advantage, it'll have completely open areas without loading screens? That'd be one of the best things ever for the series, I'm sure just about every other fan would agree with me here. I'd take that over prettier graphics ANY day.

Yeah those fall attacks look nice, I hope they do more damage since you've gotta set it up to make that move work.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

All three monsters seemed to flinch from only one of those attacks, so I'd assume that they do quite a good amount of damage. Of course, that might just be for the sake of the trailer but it would make sense anyway.

Very low res ground textures there :-/
If its completely open/seamless (like Xenoblade) thats a fine price to pay though.

I have a feeling it'll get more polish before it's released. Look at the mountains at 1:06; they look like origami or worse... N64ish.

Yeah fall attacks are gunna change alot of the setups in MH. I really want to see what these attacks look like with other weapons. Hammer setups seem like they would be amazing. Especially if you're already use to super pounding Raths out of the skySmilie

I hope this will be the first open MH with no load times between areas. If that's so, rookie hunters will no longer be able to run out of the area to heal since monsters will still be able to pursue them.

Also the climbing mechanics look interesting, I wonder if there will be armor skills devoted to fall attacks and climbing speed.

Three huge game changers that I impatiently look forward toSmilie

It would be nice to have SEVERAL new monsters instead of just reskins with mixed attacks from older ones.....we also need some giant bug monster bosses like Spiders or Centipedes.

Wow, I'm so excited for this. It looks absolutely amazing, especially the new gameplay mechanics. Smilie

..I need to post more.

Yeah....where've ya been Mush?

I think some of those textures are too low, regardless of what they're trying to push. I thought MH in 3D would look a lot better, hopefully it will by release.

Looking good so far. A little polish here and there, but come on, people! It won't be out before next year. They have time. And Capcom knows how to squeeze alot out of a system. Make it come over here with online w voice chat even.

Remember when I first tested the 3DS at an event and saw the 3D for the first time. Monster Hunter quickly popped into my head. Hunting them monsters in 3D can be beyond fun!

There are no hardcore nor casual gamers, we are all simply just GAMERS

Nowhere. Just haven't really been in the mood for posting.

It's a very theatrical-like trailer, that's for sure.

"Do a Barrel Roll!"

Yeah, it'd be nice to have the same kind of character movement when reacting to monsters...but it probably won't be THAT fluid. Hopefully we'll get to see OUR Hunter in cutscenes showing new monster encounters...that's what I think those clips are, like the one with the Hunter raiding a Rath nest then having the Rath throw it's meal at you.

Sounds like you should be looking into a way to play Frontier.

I don't mind reskins since they generally include new attacks, a different element type, and/or a different level of aggressiveness. Changes like that affect the way you can approach the monster.

As for bug monsters I can't think of anything other than the queen vespoid or the scorpion monster in frontier. It's definitely an area of creatures that can add more to the series. A plant/fungi monster would be great too, give it all statuses and the ability to change it's attacks depending on whether it's night or day, sounds like flagship cover of the box status to me.

Yeah that's a good one J Tangle, ir could attack with EVERY possible status effect so having horn blowersls in the party would be great unless you want to fill your pouch with tons of healing items.
