Pre-Order New Super Mario Bros 2, Get a Gold Coin

Fancy owning one of Mario's iconic golden coins? Pre-order the upcoming 3DS platformer for a nifty bonus gift.

Nintendo UK today confirmed that if eager fans pre-order New Super Mario Bros 2 at either GAME or GameStation, they'll receive a nifty case styled in a rather scrumptious golden coin shell. It can hold a game or two, loose change or even a little protection for those crown jewels.

The latest chapter in the long-running 2D platformer has a new objective - collect a million coins by scavenging and surviving tricky courses, pummeling enemies and saving the Princess along the way. Intrigued? Have a read of recent hands-on session for more details.
