James Bond: 007 Legends Rumoured for Wii U

The iconic British spy, James Bond, is reliving his glory days in a new shooter from Activision. Will he shake, not stir the Wii U GamePad?

007 Legends is the latest shooter to step into the franchise's rather large shoes and aims to string together five Bond flicks into one meaty package full of guns, rockets, Jaws and the man's gorgeous conquests. Current actor Daniel Craig will be the face of these classic adventures despite being portrayed by his predecessors in the films.

The game is currently in development for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC for release in October 2012, with a Wii U version absent from the official platform list at time of writing.

Retailer Amazon's French store does list 007 Legends on Wii U and is accepting pre-orders, though it maybe wishful thinking or a typo. The franchise has had a solid run on the Nintendo side, so a Wii U edition is a likely prospect some-point down the line - though launching with the console itself would be an added bonus.
