Companion Apps for Dragon Quest X on 3DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Dragon Quest X adventurers who also own a Nintendo 3DS will be able to continue the experience in a series of upcoming apps.

The main game takes place on the Wii and Wii U, but will also seep into the handheld domain in a series of nifty applications to aid your quest for weapons, gold and glory. According to Andriasang, the first is called Boukensha no Odekake Benri Tool Vol.1, which translates rougly to Convenient Tool For Adventurers On the Go: Vol.1.

It will allow for the exchange of letters, view alerts from your main Dragon Quest X adventure, view information on your friends, receive StreetPass data and product details from the Travelers Bazaar.

The first of the adventurer companion will be free to download and use, though of course an entirely optional featurer separate from the main game.

This sounds pretty cool actually...

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422
