Konami Scores with Pro Evo in London on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

London is set to host the Olympics this year, but will also be dribbling up new ideas for Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer series.

The Japanese developer confirmed today that a new studio has launched in London to help "adopt and recreate local football culture" in the popular football simulator in a bid to keep the series going with fresh new ideas and tactics.

I understand where the fans are coming from, because in past years we have talked about going down a certain direction and I don't think we've gone far enough down that direction. I don't think it's necessarily that we've not done what we've said. It's that we haven't taken it far enough in the past.

PES European team leader Jon Murphy

PES Production Studio will be working on titles for high-end consoles, presumably Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U, as well as PC.

PES is ridiculous, they dont even have the actual team names/kits. FIFA is dominating the football side of games.
