Rumour: Could Zelda Majora

Game has confirmed that the images/leaked listings were faked, and the game does not exist.

Original Story:
A removed listing on a retailer website could suggest that The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is on the way to the 3DS.

The sequel to the classic Nintendo 64 game Ocarina of Time has been a strong candidate for remake-treatment at the Japanese game studios, yet nothing has been confirmed so far. Series producer Eiji Aonuma noted how it would be a "possibility" in the past, with even minor celebrity endorsement.

On the Game website and sister retailer GameStation, a listing for The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D appeared and was quickly removed, with a "TBC" 2012 release date.

Nintendo has kept schtum on any Zelda shenanigans so far, but a surprise announcement for a 3DS remake could be a possibility given the popularity of the series and portable potential.

Would you like to see Majora's Mask remade on Nintendo 3DS or should it be left for a home console/Wii U edition?

I'd like to see Majoras Mask make an appearance, but I'd want more than a facelift. I'd like to see more dungeons and the original ideas expanded on. More villagers, more quests and more stories.

I always thought it'd be way cool if, instead of remaking these games individually, they could fuse them together. MM is supposed to take place right after OoT anyway, right? Imagine if both experiences were joined as one game? The mechanics are the same, so why not?

That would be great news. Majora's Mask is an awesome game that took a lot of risks, and a port on the 3DS with the extra RAM and cleaned up textures would be something I'd buy right away.

After OoT 3D, Nintendo was already working on a completely new Zelda game for the 3DS. A MM remake would be a possibility after this new game.

Would I want it? Only if it offers a lot of new stuff. Nothing of OoT 3D interests me enough to buy a 3DS and pay €45 for a game I've already played 4x.

Now if they come with DLC, maybe something that explores the 3rd split timeline.... must-buy.

I'm not surprised this is false, people are crying too much for this. As good as MM is I'd STILL kill for A Link to the Past remake/sequal instead, best....Zelda.....E-V-E-R!!

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422
