Over in Japan, Konami have revealed a short burst of footy favourites storming the pitch in the latest Pro Evolution Soccer.

The next title in the series, Pro Evolution Soccer 2013, is heading to various platforms - including Nintendo's Wii and 3DS. 

The touch-screen shortcut format from the previous 3DS outing makes a welcome return, demonstrating players leaping to life in portable 3D. The Wii edition, on the other hand, continues the unique point and click approach to football simulation, where players use the Wii Remote pointer to direct the flow of the match more precisely.
