High Voltage Tease News on New Conduit Project on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The folk behind first person shooter The Conduit on the Wii have teased incoming news on the series before the end of the year.

Speaking to CVG, High Voltage noted how internal upgrades are taking place to improve both the hardware and software tools to put a "fresh coat of paint on things". Various projects are being completed and distributed to publishers, but the more interesting news comes as a tease.

We haven't forgotten about Conduit over here, either. I would expect some new Conduit-related news before the year is out.

The franchise was said to be considered for the Nintendo 3DS, but with the Wii U due imminently, could High Voltage be prepping an exclusive shooter for the new home console?

Are you a fan of the series? Would you like to see The Conduit realised on Nintendo's hardware once again?

Hopefully they start over. Conduit 1 had so much promise but Conduit 2 took everything it did right and tossed it out the window, so I'd like to see High Voltage take a step back, analyze what went wrong, and give us something truly good.

Wow, remember when this game was supposed to define the wii experience of a shooter? That failed so hard. It's like how everyone was like, "I can't wait till I swing a lightsaber on the wii!!", well that never happened either.

The best shooting controls on the wii were on a game that is not really a shooter to begin with, Metroid Prime 3.

I've got no interest in The Conduit on WiiU or 3DS. I want that Animales game though.

Check out Red Steel 2---that's as close as you will get to the light saber experience. Enjoyable game too.

"(I) con du it!" - maybe this was the first clue? Also; don't give your shooter some french word as a name. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH KILLKILLKILLLLLLLLLLL! should sell better. I don't want to get 'classy' when murdering, that's just sick. :/

You are not alone. I am here with you. Though we're far apart...you're always in my heart. Love u!

I'd still prefer a new Hunter: The Reckoning. Especially if it has online co-op.

WiiSportsResult is much much closer. (you even fight a
black guy with a purple glowstick at one point...hmmm)

RS2 is effectively all gesture based, the skill level when swordfighting is far lower.
