Japanese developer G.Rev has released a new snippet of Hiroshi Iuchi's latest project in action on the Nintendo 3DS.
The man who designed the iconic arcade shooter Ikaruga is bringing his pinpoint design and gameplay precision to the 3D portable in a new game title Kokuga. The twist here, compared to past shooters, is the use of cards. When beginning a stage, pilots are given 20 cards to use, with four of them available on the bottom screen as power-ups like double laser, a forece field or even for reparing your craft.
Kokuga is due out on September 27th in Japan.
