Create Levels in Toki Tori 2 on Nintendo Wii U on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Two Tribes has revealed the glorious HD version of Toki Tori 2 that will soon float onto Wii U, complete with level editor.

Using the Wii U GamePad players can navigate the adorable world, or view the action on the main screen. One of the more interesting aspects is the ability to create new levels using the touch-screen and stylus to position elements and customise the landscape.

The Wii U edition was confirmed last month for Nintendo's platform and Steam, including a new Tokidex feature to scan around for creatures/objects using the GamePad screen as a virtual camera.

Two Tribes also popped over a a handful of new screenshots to make the wait for the Wii U version that bit harder!

Damn, a mere few weeks ago, their stance was this one :

On Wii U you have to alter your editor for the GamePad and find a way to share the content easily.

It's not impossible, but it takes time to implement and if we do it we want to make sure it works great.

And now it's already confirmed and shown working :eek. Surely they just wanted to keep it a secret until this Nintendo Direct. Maybe NDAs were involved...

I really enjoyed the first Toki Tori game (Well, the remake of the first game Smilie ) and I'm really looking forward to playing this one too.

Hopefully there will be some way of sharing your levels online and have the ability to download other people's creations as well.
