Miyamoto's Hidden Classic Hits Nintendo eShop

Nintendo has released a hidden classic from Shigeru Miyamoto on the 3DS eShop in the form of Mole Mania from the Game Boy, which was also compatible with the Super Game Boy.

Produced by Shigeru Miyamoto, this classic action-puzzle game stars Muddy Mole who must rescue his family from evil farmer Jinbe. The goal is to guide Muddy through each stage to the exit, which is easier said than done. Enemies, obstacles and devious level designs bar the way. Fortunately, Muddy can also dig beneath the surface and uncover new paths. Also, look out for bonus stages where revenge can be gotten on Jinbe. If readers like action games with a brain, then they will most certainly 'dig' Mole Mania.

The game is available for download on the Nintendo 3DS eShop Virtual Console from Thursday for €2.99 or £2.69 in the UK.
