New details for the Wii U-specific version have emerged, including a lack of off-TV play.
The game does boast a more varied mission mode, with a more convincing narrative, with the Wii U edition including various additional tidbits compared to the Wii and multiplatform versions.
The GamePad itself acts as a world map with key points highlighted, plus an optional hotkey panel to perform certain moves/abilities with ease. Off-TV play won't be present in the game however, due to time constraints.
Those hoping to use the traditional Wii Remote and nunchuck from the original game will have to settle for the Wii edition, as the main/single player is forced to use the GamePad. The co-op/second player can use the remote/nunchuck.
