Today Nintendo revised its profit forecast to include an estimated figure for Wii U consoles sold before the end of the fiscal year.
The new console, set to debut on November 18th in the US, November 30 in Europe/Australia and December in Japan, is predicted to sell at least 5.5 million units before March 31st.
With underperforming 3DS sales, Nintendo also lowered estimated figures for the portable down to 17.5 million (from 18.5 million). Existing console, the Wii, is still reeling in the money for Nintendo, with the game maker predicting sales of around 5 million for the current fiscal period.
