Namco Bandai's Nintendo-themed fighter is heading to the digital space as one of the first Wii U downloadables.
Spotted on the Official Website (via NeoGAF), the game will launch with the system in Japan, but interestingly will be cheaper if you download it.
At time of writing the retail edition will cost 6,980 Yen (£54/$87), whilst the eShop equivalent will set players back a significantly cheaper (£48/$78). Downloading Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will also rack up 16.7GB on an SDHC card or external hard-drive.
Plans and pricing options outside Japan have yet to be discussed.
