US Advert for Nintendo's New Super Mario Bros U

Nintendo has started to promote the latest entry in the long-running Super Mario Bros series with an advert for the Wii U edition.

The porky plumber Mario, his brother Luigi a pair of Toads and Mii are storming Bowser's infinite castles, bundling down pipes and collecting coins in a bid to save Princess Peach from harm once again. This time round a fifth player can join the action and the TV campaign shows an array of different ways the GamePad mixes up the tried and tested formula.

The sequence is also being aired alongside Disney film Wreck-It Ralph, which is due out in cinemas this weekend in North America.

Help out buddies using the touch screen to spawn blocks or switch to the smaller screen if the big one is being hogged.
